So I've made a new account here: Dusky Dawn
I was sick of my old username, it was too animu. It seemed like a good time to start a new account. I chose the name based from a variation of my name, 'cause I like my name. So yeah, if you want to keep in touch or you like my art come watch me there. After about a week or so I'll be deleting this account maybe. I'm not sure.
Only experimentally.
But you know what? They feel so...sexy to draw with they way they leave such bold texture and those curvy strokes. They're just sexy drawing material. I love them.
*humps her charcoal set*
I think I'm going through an all traditional phase right now even in my choice of favorites.
Pssh teenagers and their phases.
Oh I have a couple books you need to flip through. They're art books that I got, one becuase it's common in art collages to suggest and one becuase it's...enlightening :V
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm working on the one Photoshop project and after that I have this list of traditional stuff to do.
Oh cool. I have some college stuff my teacher gave me to look through if you want to look through it too. She doesn't like the Art Institute either, especially Cinncinnati
Can you blame her? I mean really.
I'd love to look at it. In my own findings I discovered that I liked the Maryland Institute, College of Art decently. But I think it's expensive. :/
No I totally agree with her. Yeah I saw that person's stuff, not impressive at all.
I'm looking into Columbus college of Art and Design and Cleavland Institute of Art. A lot of the Institutes are, but remember there are things you can do for financial aide: scholarships, grants, and student loans.
Bullshot brewery's~~
I'll give them a peek.
I'm not going to get a scholarship or anything, be realistic.
Student loans... don't they put most people in debt for like years and years?
It doesn't hurt to try with the scholarships, I'm going to at least try. I doubt I'll get anything though.
Yes but it's not like what people *cough* military *cough* try to put it off as. You'll have that debt for a long time but the interest on it is incredibly low and the minimum monthly payment is again incredibly low. My dad still has that debt but you know what it's so low compared to his other bills that it doesn't matter.
Not really. I mean my grades aren't awful but they're not great. I don't know why everyone thinks I get that good of grades. Besides the scholarships for the art colleges are art based, not grade based. You should do some research into this stuff.
You get waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better grades than me
You're mom is art based.
I wouldn't get an art based scholarship either though... >.>;
Umm hello, I have been researching. A lot of art collages have academic requirements too that exceed my performance if ya catch ma drift. I just figured if that was the case, then scholarships would be similar... Geeze just becuase I don't know everything I haven't done my research. >:'''C
B'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww me :'<
Yeah because I actually put in some effort.
You never know, weird stuff happens. Most of them are like completions, a first, second, third place sort of thing.
Yeah some do. But some don't have very high standards, such as 2.0 or better. But they have to draw the line somewhere. They can't be letting complete lazyasses in. You also still need to have ACT or SAT scores.
Effort smeffort.
Still... like is it for our area? How centralized do you think? I know I wouldn't make top 3 in America ; Wouldn't even make top 10 in Ohio I bet. =/
2.0 may be high for me... ;
It's not my ass that's lazy it's these durned hands.
I saw one with a 3.5 requirement I was like "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttt" :'<
I think I can get good ACT/SAT scores I do well on tests.
No it's normally for specific schools or just Ohio if it's one of those Schoolastic things.
Oh good God, Moo! -___-
And your brain.
Yeah those are normally the really high standards expensive collages.
I'm sure you could.
